i know this is in the wrong section but i need advice quickly,how do you take the rear bumper off a my96,them screws at the top look impossible to get at?

If you're lucky and they used the press-in clips, you might be able to pop them up by levering from the side with a screwdriver. If not, you'll have to remove the rear light clusters.

cheers grease monkey...new one is now fitted but only trouble i had was getting the fixings back in and i had to leave a couple out.i should imagine if the subaru wrc team get a damaged bumper they retire the car how long it takes to change

WR Car bumpers can be changed in about five minutes, and no, you don't need to pull the rear lights to do it
