I've followed quite a few threads recently, usually concerning different types of fuel, and the issue of resetting the ecu crops up . How is this done and what will it do if reset?

I believe post 99 cars will learn new fuels almost immediately, however pre 99 cars will take longer, so you are better off doing the above.

 

disconnect your battery for a couple of hours
