Given the expected & current delays for a P!, I'm tempted towards a Mitsi 3000GT. Anyone have any experience of these?...had a quick test drive other day and was impressed - not as gutsy as a scooby but not half bad...

 

Going back a bit, but Performance car group tested one along with:

Porsche 968
Mazda RX7
Lotus Esprit
Renault Alpine A610
Subaru SVX (don't ask me why)
+ a few others that I can't remember without pulling that issue out.


And it did rather badly.
I recall they summed it up by saying something along the lines of 'Never has so much technology done so little'!

The performance is not that hot in comparison either. The A610 was the overall winner.

A customer of mine has one and regrets the day he bought it. Great for posing on the promenade but no guts and crap handling.

As above I'm sick of the farce I happen to be involved in waiting for delivery of a P1....it really is an absolute shambles now I am actully considering a Evo..

 

I was talking to my dealer the other day about the P1's.

He said that prodrive are having a problem with the rear spoiler. As in they are not arriving quick enough from the supplier.

Don't know if this is correct or not but thought you should know anyway.

They wouldn't bat an eyelid if you did that, buy a brand new STi 6 for less, then send them a photo of you standing in front of it, thumbs up.

That would do the trick!
