Unhappy

Hi all.......

I am new to this community. I recently purchased a new shape STI but it was imported from Malta and therefore it is not EC spec.

I do have a EEC certificate of Conformity though!!!

No UK garages wanted to touch it as they say that the parts may be different and that it will viod the warranty.

So please anyone help.......i am coming up to the 1000 mile service and this is my first scooby.

Need desperate advice.

thanks

I have the same problem with an imported car. I have to do my own servicing but since the warranty expired long ago it does not matter.

With your certificate for the EEC I think they are being unfair to you. Maybe it is worth contacting Subaru directly and ask them what they mean by it all! Tell them that since you are in the EEC that you expect normal service from them.
