Got two small stone chips on my roof a while ago.
Just had the car veleted and they are rusting???
Help.
Car is covered in stone chips anyway but I never bother to fill them in.
I thought if a car was galvanised it shouldnt rot!!!
Warranty???
Spoke to my dealer and he thinks not!!!!

AFAIK, if the rust spots are as a result of stone chips, then you are NOT covered by warranty If the rust was inside->out then you would be.

As far as galavanising is concerned then that shouldn't rust, but I've no idea is Subaru coke-can body panels are made of that stuff.

I thought all cars were rust proof these days????
Looks like its down to me then.
Anyone know a good patch-up bloke.Ozzy I had an M3 and a 330sport.
I must say that BMW are way above Subaru in mr expectations of customer service.
This is a classic example really. My BM dealer would sort this no question.
Still apart from that my STI runs great and I am very pleased with it.
And I have more money in my pocket every month

nah, the focus will get stone chipped and rust too.

Arron, I know you've had 'moments' with your Subaru ownership. Was it just the M3 you drove between Impreza's or did you have some others? And if so, how did ownership of those compare to Subaru?
