Bought my MY99 used from a Subaru dealer back in November , so it came with 1 years warranty. Any clues how much this will cost to extend for 1 or 2 years when it expires in November this year.

My MY99 Wagon cost me about £320 for another year after the manufactures warranty ran out. This also included breakdown cover for a year.

Shop around. Other on the BBS have told me I paid a bit too much

Just paid £404 for two years limited to 60K, I believe this has now gone up to £440.

I bought my 02 subaru sti last week and the dealer offered £699 for unlimited mileage warranty. Nice. Standard warranty is 3 years/60000 miles, so as long as you purchase the extended warranty before this your fine.

 

I had a MY99 Turbo and when the 3 years standard warranty was up I opted to extend this warranty for a further 2 years unlimited mileage (which of course includes the European breakdown assistance) and it cost c. £580 ... money well spent as I needed a wheel hub bearing replaced which nearly cost that amount in the end

Plus, I was told by the car dealer I sold the car to that having the additional 17 months warranty on the car warranted an extra £500 trade-in value ...

Peace of mind at the end of the day
