Just about to buy a MY 93 WRX with tasty 18s, pick it up on Tuesday. Last question before I part with my cash ... am I going to regret buying a 10 yr old car ? or should I forget the age and remember its my dream car !!! ? Any advice or comments welcome !

Ignore the age, treat the mileage with suspicion and buy on it's condition. Worked for me, my 10 year car has been fine for me over the last 12 months. Just remember, your car is at the age where you'll be looking at replacing some parts, do it as a rolling service program a bit at a time.

If your that worried about the age of the car, don't worry there's mods you can do to make it look like a younger classic, keep posting on scoobynet and you will get top advice. BTW is it you that is worried about it being 10 yrs old or what others think, Don't be if your drivng a scoob your driving an icon.

My 9 year old is going as well as ever and still looks perfectly respectable. I am impressed with the lack of rust anywhere. If it has been looked after, you will love it!
