Went to my local Shell station here in Germany the other day only to find the Optimax pumps locked out!
The nice lady behind the counter informed me that the tanks are empty ready for a new enhanced Optimax to be officially released on the 6th May!
Apparently the new fuel will be 100 octane (previously 99 octane in Germany!). Not sure if it will make it to the UK, but the Jap import owners here can now give up the octane booster!
