Got a new wrx ppp and opened her up couple of weeks ago to 140 ( on a private road of course) with plenty left.
However had another chance a few days ago and again yesterday and both times when it gets to 130 there is a severe vibration and humming coming through drivers side. The only way to describe it is a cross between going over rumble strip on side of road and a giant wasp???
Anyone had a similar prob as its not as if i can take it to the dealer for them to road test it.

You can start with chesking the inner wheelarch and undertray, mine were loose. It was the dealers fault as he had to remove them for an engine problem. But when he replaced it he forgot the clips to sece them. And when starting top drive, the whole thing began to whobble and flatter in the wind...
The noise I had is something that you described...

Thanks for advice, checked & all clips in place.
Was hopeful as that sounded like it could be prob.
It seems that a mass of air is blasting through n/s wing into drivers door.
Does anyone know if the air intake at front of bay going into the inner wing is directly connected to the air filter box or does it just supply air to that area.

dave.
