General Organisation / Administration
Hi All
It is important that we don't all end up in the "left arm doesn't know what the right arm is doing".
For this reason we should make sure that we don't go off and arrange things independantly.
Probably the best thing to do is to post suggestions / discuss them here and then we can make a final decision and decided who needs to take what action etc?
thoughts?

How many people would pay to do a lap with Richard Burns or Juha "K" around the Silverstone superspecial stage, I'm sure you would be beating them away with a dirty stick even if it had a price of £50 a trip around the full lap and a couple of quid to spectate, it has the potential to raise a mint for charity . . . . after seeing him take the new "spanner boys" around a stately home test track in a BBC programme over the summer I'd be first to stump up me £50 !!
Having read the last thread, I agree we have to do this .... and it has to involve Prodrive/Richard/Juha to pull the numbers needeed to raise big amounts ...... but I may be wrong !!

Kev,
I agree. Needs a big name. Hey, we have our very own SDB here
Seriously, we do not need just Mr. Burns but we should also look towards having other cars there as well, bit of variety
Simon, I would like to help if I can, on the day and beforehand. Main skill I can offer is "blagging". I have a PhD in it
Let me know.
Cheers
Ian

How about involving one of the Car Mags - Evo for instance (well known for their love of all things Scooby). I've been lucky to be driven by Richard Meaden (co-ed of Evo) a few years ago - the man can drive (I believe a certain John Barker is quite handy behind the wheel as well
)
Also good because you would be able to blag some free advertising as well.
Cheers
