Talking

As well as fitting scoob99's exhaust on saturday, I also fitted my PPP backbox that I managed to pick up on the forum.

WOW - exactly what I wanted.

Now have scoobysport decat centre section with the proper PPP back box (not WR sport) Fantastic.

I have a 5 door MY98 turbo and wanted more noise more power, less booming. The PPP exhaust is wonderful, drive the car gently and it's barely louder than standard, even with the scoobysport mid-section. Just a deeper sounding note. And it's virtually as quiet inside as standard even when motorwat cruising. But, open it up, and WOW what a noise - fan-bloody-tastic.

So all you 5 door puppies out there who want the noise but not the droning booming noise, I can recommend you try one of these.

Scorpion you say ? I'd heard that , but then I don't expect the ones direct from Scorpion say Prodrive on them ? And it cost me much less then the £260 or so a Scorpion would be (I think).

And

I must check my spelling in future before posting (but didn't so had to edit it anyway....)

PPP backbox can't be bought new, unless you are getting the full Prodrive Impreza performance package. However you can buy a Prodrive WR sport back box which I *think* is essentially the same box but with an oval tail pipe. They are apparently manufactured for Prodrive by Scorpion but that does not mean that they are the same as the backbox's Scorpion sell themselves.
The P1 backbox is a different design altogether.
