I am new to the forum and also a proud new owner of a MY94 WRX.

Just wanted to say a big "Hi" to everyone out there.

Wink

Hello
Just check out www.sidc.co.uk to start with, and ensure your car is fed only super unleaded fuel (or she will be very poorly )

Red face

Putting plain unleaded fuel will kill your engine (well and truely!)
These cars are meant to be run on 100 ron fuel (thats what the ECU is mapped for) so anything less and it can (and will in most cases if the fuel type is too far out) cause detonation and melt your pistons (not a cheap job to repair!)
Super unleaded is the Minimum you should put in your car (super unleaded and octane booster is preferable to bring it up to the 100 ron rating you ecu is expecting).
You can check out www.scoobymania.co.uk for octane booster but sul is a must (plus you will get a decrease in performance running lower grade 97 ron fuel)
