Commiserations to your colleague, yet another scooby F***ed by the low life!
I think it's time to start a thread regarding "How to safeguard your Scooby as far as practically possible from theft" - any takers? Re-iterating to the nth degree
any possible vulnerable areas where scoobs might end up falling prey into the wrong hands.

Sorry to hear of the loss
My precautions/Fitted over 3 years
Steel Roller Shutter {remote operation)
24 hour camera / time lapse video recorder
24 hour lighting
Tracking system
House front and back door always locked.
I dare not think about the total cost and apart from the tracking system the above only provides security when the scooby is parked at home
I spoke to elsec (car security specialist) in leeds today they would give 10% off tracking systems to sidc members. They offer very good advice on whats what in tracking.

A mate of mine has a wheel clamp for his Sierra Cosworth when parked on the street in london - it's a pretty good solution if you haven't got a garage - very visible deterent and they wont be able to nick that wheel at least!
Only problem is lugging it around when not in use.
Cheers,
Charles
