Just ordered my carbon bonnet..
paint it silver (406) or leave it carbon??
(yes I know the paint adds weight)

Silver is the only colour which suits carbon IMO. I think you should leave it for the moment as it is.
Anyway, if you decide to paint it, you're well equipped to sort it

My car is silver and having a carbon bonnet on it looks good..(experimented with black
Leaving my scoops silver though..

I think black pins (or grey) too
Why dont you want to keep the Ally one?? too much flex? my old steel one flex's a bit at 120+ let alone 200..

why would u want to fit a carbon bonnet and then paint it?
u could have got the alloy bonnet for that??

Seems like Carbon it is then...
Had the alloy one.. sold it for a good price to fund a carbon one..
Bought it as I decided to facelift the front and throw my p1 bumper on.

bonnet is coming from evo composites. Dunno about the sport bonnets, but wish I had gone for one now.. probably more aerodynamic..

With your plans I would leave it plain carbon It will look the business and with the perfomance you are hoping for it should really look the part It seems a shame to put paint on carbon because it looks the dogs. Are you getting carbon vents and scoops too?
