Tiff gives his verdict on the STI8 ppp vs EVO VII vs MG TF To be braodcast later in the series.

If you play the videos you can just hear Tiff say that the Impreza is the best all rounder.

This looks VERY much as if it's an STi7 Prodrive (but non PPP), rather than an STi8 PPP.

Daft really, as it was filmed in early March - so they could have easily used an STi8 PPP

I think the outcome of a PPP'd car against the EVO VII FQ300 would have been much fairer (Tiff can be heard to say that the EVO is the faster car, etc.) - but the Impreza still seems to do well and wins overall...

(Even though Ch5 spell Impreza as 'Impretza' on various clips, and some of the clips that claim to be the Scooby are actually the Mitsy).

yep - an STi7 PPP, most of the movie clips seem to be wrongly titled

People wonder why it's now on CH5......

You're absolutely correct.

Have just gone back in and looked at some of the videos of the stationary car and IT IS an STI7 !!! and checking my diary it looks like this program was made last year!!

And all the program references are from last years series.

I've been through it more as well now (and my diary!), and it does indeed seem to be the last series site, with no updates for this series yet.

Oh well..... At least someone spotted (and helped) Tiff in an STi8 (which would be the PPP'd one) on the M5 a short while ago whilst on his way to filming for 5th Gear, so I guess we've still got some good coverage to come - somewhere later in this series......

Now - STi8 PPP vs EVO VII FQ300 - That I WOULD like to see!

They did the STi7 vs Evo7 FQ300 in the last series, didn't they watched it a couple of weeks ago on one of the UKTV channels. Evo was quicker round the test track but STi is "Easier to live with from Day to Day"
