Newport_White_Scooby, ME and a few others are having problems getting rid of our 15" wheels. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do with them i.e. anyone know how to make furniture from them? Perhaps a water feature for the garden with a fountain comming up through the middle?

Suggestions please coz they are sat in a pile in my office at the moment and getting in the way!!!

What's the offset and PCD? you may find some kit car owners would take 'em.

If you're running standard brakes, put some winter tyres on them and wait for snow

I reckon we'd get more just selling the tyres alone and posting them in a local free ads or something!
The amount of burn-outs and stuff the nova boys and such like do!

I'd love to help out; as a lowly Sport owner with a set of bashed in rims, I'm in sore need - but... I'm lazy, I have been looking for someone selling in my neck of the woods (Essex & London). Tempt me away from the soft south east you big wheeled turbo nutters!

Norlee, I've got the old 16's in gold, if that's any good. Not the best condition, but you are welcome to have a look. I'm in herts so not too far from London.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm trying to keep in stealth mode (so silver or perhaps black...), what I like about me sport is the "lack" of attention my scoop-free bonnet attracts i.e. no hassle from scumbags so far (and let's keep it that way) - though the difference in power & acceleration leaves me a bit humbled.

Having said that it causes a bit of frustration when meeting oncomming scooby owners as I only give a half hearted wave not the full bloodied turbo slaute! sounds like turbo envy to me....
