What Mods to an STI 8
#1
18s are suggested when going for the PPP, but they do make a diiference, although some will get them for pose value.
Personally I wouldn't **** about with mods to a brand new £25k car that might cause warranty issues, but that's me. However, most mods that would have any effect upon the performance would almost certainly make it louder (B/B, downpipe, inductions kits etc).
If it's within your budget, I'd go for the PPP (it wasn't within mine, but I got it anyway). Unless provoked, there's little increase in noise, it gives a marked difference in performance, and you get to keep your warranty.
Just IMHO of course.

I'm getting my new 8 this weekend.
What mods does it need to be even better apart from the PPP kit?
Apart from the price,of the PPP, I really don't want it to sound louder than it already is (no stainless drainpipe then) but a sensible mod would be appreciated.
Any known faults yet?
What about wheels? are 18" better or is it just for the pose value?
