STi 8 Speakers
#1
Gonna order on Monday *evil grin* now for some proparitory (excuse the spelling) questions.
The head unit in this car looks and also I read it is poo, so I will replace with the Clarion that Subaru suggest Clarion ADX5655RZ-2, no idea how much this is, I dont wanna spend too much, just enough for it to look and sound better than the standard head unit.
Question 1. Are the speakers in the STi 8 up to the job?
Question 2. Any reccomendation for a new hooter? What model and where or will a £20 halfords 2 tone do?
Question 3. That horrible plastic steering wheel. Reccomendations?
Question 4. The car will have PPP, anything else you can suggest I look into buying after I get the car.
Cheers in advance.

1. I'm not too sure how poo the stereo is. I'm waiting until I upgrade the speakers before deciding whether to upgrade anything else.
2. Can't see the problem with the horn
3. Replacing the steering wheel opens up a whole new can of worms (airbags etc)
4. Personally, I think the PPP is enough for anyone to be getting on with. See how you feel after it's fitted.
Had mine for around four weeks, and the PPP for more than half of that. I'm still getting used to it, but it does feel slower than my P1, until I look at the speedo! IMHO there's very little needs doing to the car, although 18s make the car feel more predictable.
I know some people with change to the Prodrive springs when they're available, but anything else would probably only be cosmetic.

Good point about the steering wheel. Air Bag never crossed my mind.
As for the horn, its gotta go. All that car and a horn from a Nissan Micra
Personal Opinion though.
