I can't seem to see the pictures in the post any more, just a little white box with a red x - is my Internet explorer up the duff?

1) installed a firewall ?
2) messed with the settings of a firewall ?
3) on a works computer behind a firewall ?

Funny you should mention that, un-installed Zonealarm and now installed trial version of Norton Firewall.

 

quite possible norton is blocking certain website. I know norton by default blocks ad banners and has been known to make the scoobynet reply button disappear. Never used norton myself so wouldnt know how to fix it. Someone may know in the computer forum or worth a search. There is a simple fix to the reply button problem if you have that one as well.
