Hi all,

I was wondering what the BHP difference is between the Japan supplied STi7 and the UK STi7 with PPP. I have been told UKPPP 300 BHP and the Jap motor 316BHP??

Any rolling road experiences much appreciated.

Cheers,

Joules

The figures are meant to be 280ps for the JDM STi (but more like 300bhp) and 300bhp for the UK sti with PPP (one at well lane rolling roaded at 311ish bhp).
You would have to go though the dyno section and see if there are any for comparison.

Thumbs up

Cheers for that.. I also hear the JAP model is 50KG lighter!!

Just for info got an insurance quote for both from Priviledge

UK STi7 £845
UK STi7 with PPP £1153

JAP STi7 £1019

JAP has to be the choice... more BHP, Better lights, Rear Wash Wiper, Electric Mirrors. Safety features, neutral start only and reverse buzzer.

Wink

Now if you want lighter then go for the C Type STi, about 150kg lighter and it still has most of the good bits on (and you get a roof vent, only come in white though...)
