can anyone tell me what these do and what beneift io would get from fitting one of these to my STi7?
I looked on the website www.psi3.co.uk and i didnt find out much about them apart from the price!

Nick - I'm surprised you found a lack of info on the site! 
Try downloading some of the technical documents in the top right-hand drop-down selection. You will find the User Manual especially helpful.
