Is the Price Right?

I guess modifications and mileage are the 2 key areas... the latter particularly important in view of the need for some fairly serious services later on in the life of the car - e.g. cambelt change.
Also look out for gearbox/clutch wear as these are relatively expensive items too - in man hours if not spares costs alone.
why not try to get the dealer to warranty the car - or speak to motr warranty direct for a quote for 3rd party warranty = a little more peace of mind

Someone not on this BBS has seen a K-reg WRX on sale from a dealer: £8450 on the road. Assuming it's in good condition is this a fair price?
What specific things (other than the usual 2nd-hand car things) should he watch out for if he goes to look at it?
Thanks in advance,
David
