How many of you scoobyneters have be tucked up by someone selling something on this forum, ie paying for the goods and not getting them, and is there anything that can be done if this happens?
only way to be sure is to meet up ,,,,,,, all you will lose is the petrol costs if its a stitch up
also these are the things to look out for ,
Alot of "buys at once" , ie dutch auctions etc,, the swindler gets as many cheques in as possible at once , therefore conning alot at once , and he laughing all the way to the bank ,
this isnt to say all ppl are out to get you , ive used ebay for instance and had some good deals ,
G-NASHER, contact the person concerned; give them chance to correct matters, if they are not reasonable; give a heads-up to
all on scoobynet so that no-one else suffers.
I've blindly sent of a number of cheques in the past and haven't been stung! I'd be a little suspicious of a newbie but most of my stuff has been bought from regulars.
