My number plates are stuck on with stickyback plastic foam tyoe stuff, so it was no surprise when I cam out this afternoon and the rear one was lying on the floor!

What do I need to fix them on properly, with screws etc? I want to do the front one as well as that is probably going to fall off sonner or later!

If you go to halfords they have little packs with screws and fitting e.t.c to fit number plates...

I use 3 rear view mirror pads (50p each) for my rear plate but only trust screws for the front. Halfords do a good selection.

I've got mine on with stickback velcro and they don't come off. Just put 1 square in each corner.

And warm too if you're doing it now. Warm both surfaces with a hot air gun or hair dryer after cleaning before starting the attachment process.

Ok without in the summer but not this weather.

I guess the glue just doesn't go off properly in the cold.

The pads they sell at halfords work a treat. I've never had a problem with them, and as my P1's on it's third registration number, I've had plenty of experience.
