Question

My company has just set up a petrol account, which is great, except it's with Texaco. This means I can only get 95 RON petrol.

Is there an addative I can get that will increase the RON to 97? And is this as good as using Super Unleaded?

Help appreciated.

Mark.

Millers Octane Plus, £2.98 per bottle. 1 bottle per tank.
Get it from demon tweeks.
Theres several other alternatives but I think this is the cheapest I've seen

Try some NF ob. I have used a number of boosters and NF in my opinion gave the best results.

I've had no problems running 95 in a UK Turbo with or without PPP

After all Prodrive give the torque and BHP curves for both 95 ans SUL/Optimax

Agreed - it shouldn't do any damage, although the engine might be a bit wheezy. You could always try running octane booster for a while and see if you feel it's worth the effort.
