OK, Seen that scoobysport does a conversion for the foggies into driving lights.

My question is:

Can this be done for a WRX?

Daft I know, but I'd like the conversion when I get the WRX. Mainly so that the inconsiderate gits on the road get the message when I falsh my lights at them, assuming of course that the foggies (now driving lights) will come on when main beam flash is used.

 

The Cibie kit will fit fine. If you follow the instructions they'll come on with main beam ... although you can buy an additional kit to allow the fog-light switch to act as a 'defeat' switch.

A few people have suffered very annoying delays (myself included) in the supply of the kit, so check with Scoobysport about the supply situation before ordering to avoid disappointment.

Secondly, a few people (myself included again) have experienced bulb life problems. I'm currently running 55W bulbs, but plan on changing back to 130W bulbs soon along with a couple of tweaks to the set-up to see if I can improve things.

Use the search facility to see a few other people's opinions on the kit, etc.

All in all driving lamps are a fantastic addition that improve night driving no end!

Never used the front fogs on my mondy, did once on the saxo, but it did not seem to make much difference. Hence me wanting to change them to driving lights.

We have 40 sets being assembled at the moment, they finally arrived today after a 4 week back order at the factory.

We also have ample stocks of the long life 130w bulbs.

Once we have satisfied all of the current orders, we will still have sets in stock.

They fit the wagon ( and all other Imprezas) perfectly
