EVO VIII vs STI spec C
#1
FYI,
the same carmag has a scoop article
comparing the acceleration of Evo VIII(6MT),
VII(5MT) and Impreza spec C(6MT).
0-400m
Evo 8 GSR(6MT): 13.7 sec
Evo 8 RS (6MT): 13.4 sec
Imp C (6MT) : 13.4 sec
Evo 7 GSR(5MT) : 13.7 sec
0-100 km/h
Evo 8 GSR(6MT): 5.6 sec
Evo 8 RS (6MT): 5.3 sec
Imp C (6MT) : 5.2 sec
Evo 7 GSR(6MT) : 5.6 sec
40 to 80 km/h (4th gear)
Evo 8 GSR(6MT): 6.6 sec
Evo 8 RS (6MT): 6.5 sec
Imp C (6MT) : 6.3 sec
Evo 7 GSR(6MT) : 7.3 sec
80 to 120 km/h (4th gear)
Evo 8 GSR(6MT): 4.5 sec
Evo 8 RS (6MT): 4.3 sec
Imp C (6MT) : 4.1 sec
Evo 7 GSR(6MT) : 5.0 sec

to Alcazar,
I'm registered to this BBS...that's why I can send a post
But I can't find a reply button anywhere...
anyway, not a big problem
To Tony burns,
> Impreza: 1 min 04.71 sec
> Evo VII: 1 min 05.40 sec
both are the times of the lightweight ver. (spec C vs RS)
and they are timed at the same condition.
> Evo VII RS:1 min 04.69 sec; 280 ps/38.0 kgm; Feb 2001
in Japan, Feb is the coolest...it must be around 0 degreeC.
such condition will increase the hp of the evo 7RS.

I dont run Norton Firewall but I think in Internet security there is status and you can disable ad-blocking for scoobynet only, leaving you safe on the web and having a reply button on scoobynet.
Other option is to leave Norton the way it is and when you want to reply change the text in the address bar to reply rather than thread eg.
The address whilst viewing this thread is

Just change the Thread.asp to Reply.asp

You're right Chrisp...
I think the ad-blocker has got something with it.
it's good to know that I don't have
to turn-off the Norton security.
Btw,
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/Reply.asp?ThreadID=155098
does not help....I can't see anything
in any case, thanks a lot!
