FYI, a Japanese carmag has dynoed the new Impreza STi
and some other turbo-powered Japanese cars.
Here are the results:

Impreza STi, normal, mileage 350km : 301.1 ps, 40 kgm
Evo VII : 305.5 ps (tested at different day)
Fairlady Z, 3.5l : 287 ps
R34 Skyline GTR : 330-340 ps
Toyota Supra RZ : 320 ps
RX-7 (last model) : 313.5 ps
Nissan Cima : 340ps

Nissan Cima is sold in US/CDN & other export markets as the Infiniti Q45. It has that sort of power output cos it's got a 4.5 litre V8.

 

Looks like a Merc from the front, a maxima from the side. It has got serious power, looks pretty damn heavy to me, i've never seen one before, doesnt ship down to these parts. What does ps convert to in hp? Has somebody got the ratio?

The STi is pretty matched for power with the Evo, GTR is of course a bit out front, but in the STis favour; it isn't really broken in yet at 350km...

Those Infinitis are available in Hong Kong, & if u want to compare size, it is in the same class as the Lexus LS400 (Toyota Celsior).
The brochure I have says it has 332ps & 43.9kgm of torque, abt 327bhp (factor of 0.986).
