After merely fiddling with it for the last 2 services Beechdale phoned me this morning to tell me they have convinced subaru to pay for a new clutch which has beeen juddering from cold for the last 10000 miles.
thought they were just fobbing me off when they said they would try to convince subaru to replace it

Got mine replaced under warranty at around 32-35K as well. The new one has started to do the same after 5 or so K too, but at least it's only when cold. And now the 4th gear synchro is giving up. I thought they had a good reliability and build reputation! Still have warranty so I'll have to see if they'll look at the box next time in.
