OK,
Have MY00 5dr c.10k miles on clock. What do you get for your money? Is it worth it? Where is the best place to get it done (dealer or otherwise)
etc etc
Also what does PPP actually stand for?

It used to cost about £3k, but the one for the MY01 is I believe £1200 (not much use to you ?). Dunno if the prvious model has come down too, I would have thought so. Er, phone a dealer.
Dealer or otherwise? There is no otherwise for "PPP".
BUT you can get different ECU back box etc. not called a PPP and perhaps get the same/better for less?
But PPP is an approved Subaru conversion so you keep your warranty.
I don't have one. I have other things to spend twelve hundred nicker on.
Edited to say, leave that damn Cat alone!

You may get more bangs for your buck with a boost controller (£500) and a decat downpipe (£200).
In the midrange, my car after PPP, downpipe and induction kit (total £2k) is at least a third quicker. That is a lot.

I'm looking into PPP at the moment. Price being quoted by dealers is £1968.13 for an old shape (MY00) scoob. This includes transport to Prodrive; if you take it there yourself it's about £1750.
They cannot fit it at dealers (I lie, there is one in scotland that is authorised) - only the new shape can be done at dealers.
That said, I spoke to someone at Prodrive yesterday who seemed to think all models of car could be PPP'd at dealers - I then spoke to 2 dealers both of whom said they could only do the MY01 on site.
BTW, I'd be delighted to hear Prodrive's reasoning behind the price difference of the MY01 and MY00 PPP.
PS. If any dealers etc know any better please let me know and you can have my business

Simon the official reason for the difference in price between new and old PPP is because for the old one they had to get a new ecu.
Can't see how it makes that much difference myself as digital motors can manage to provide and ecu with their map for £450(ish) admittedly they probably don't buy it off Subaru though.
