Registration plates
Finally decided to get myself a cherished number plate.
I've seen a few cars with 'shortened' plates i.e. the blank bits on the ends cut off, and was wondering if these are legal.
If so will any place do these for me or is there someone in particular who does them?
Cheers
Bas

bad news is that the new plates must display the dealer/company name at the bottom and their postcode in the corner which means that cutting the plate makes it illegal unless you get the company to cut the perspex and print the code in a different place - but this is unlikely 'cos the perspex covers will be printed in large batches! Bleedin shame!
