And so the Saga continues...

After lots of support here regarding missing mats in the P1, I had the situation confirmed by a well informed bloke at IM/Subaru (Chris Orchison)... Yes the P1 had mats and a boot mat as standard equipment, if they are not there contact your dealer... This guy was *very* good, also knew exactly what I was talking about on the gearbox issues as well.

So, contact dealer... Found out today (3 days later) that they considered that as I had not reported the missing carpets when I bought the car it was now too late... Great.

Back to Subaru... 'Yes sir, the P1 does have mats, oh your dealer doesn't eh? we will send you a set today sir, what is your address?'

I had a similar issues with the gearbox, the dealers couldn't get any ETA on the new gears and expected a months wait, call IM/Subaru and they are being shipped from Europe specially and arrive Mon/Tues...

Must say when you get to the organ grinder you get the service you expect, shame the monkey dealers are so ******* useless...
