I have heard that the cost of SVA testing is going to go up in the next month or so...? from £200 to £1400 per import.

I don't know if this is true but in a way I hope it is.. because I have not been successful in trying to sell my car..

in a way I am hoping that this car market imposed myth that car prices have gone down (anyone noticed that Impreza prices have not) may be dispelled and with some luck might improve the second hand market for Impreza's.

I have heard that the SVA test is to be more stringent for improved emessions testing, but 1400 sounds a bit to much, if you hear anymore please let me know.
