Question

Given all the talk about how it is a bad thing to use an oiled filter on a Scoob (MAF sensor etc) I thought I'd go for an ITG as recommended by everyone.
I noticed it was oily when I fitted it and wiped off as much of the excess as I could. It's been on about a month and I opened up the 'box today just to have a look see and noticed...

Given this much oil in the bottom of the box after a month, how much has been ingested through the air intake? Can it damage the MAF or am I being an old woman (don't answer that as I think I probably already know)?
