There is No Excuse - Rolling Road Shootout - The Date!!
#1
All of you who have expressed an interest will now have the details and an application form in your inbox by now - if you haven't received one by tomorrow - let me know as "rannoch1@hotmail.com".
The Rolling Road day will be run in 4 segments with representatives of UK and Import communities in each segment. Each segment will be a stage of tune - I/II/III/IV.
We are also seeking a completely standard UK car and a standard STi/P1.
This will mean that not everyone will get to run - this is to ensure a spread of tuning applications to be tested on the Rolling Road and for everyone to see what each car is capable of .
We are also planning a more open event later on for all comers.
If you would like to run then please email as above.
If you would like to spectate - the day is November 17th and we hope to arrange the usual PE hospitality including Bacon Butties.
Finally - by organising it this way - we may well have one of the mags come along and take an interest so get your apps back to me now to ensure that we get an early sign-up.
Cheers,
Trout

PS At least one professional tuner has agreed to run in a special top tuner section and another tuner has their car there (Craig!).
Any tuners brave enough to enter - please let me know - we don't want a winner by default!

Andy, I think it will be good. If only more of our Scoob suppliers/tuners would turn up. Then maybe we get to meet them, and get the chance to see the products that they sell close up.

Guys,
Bob Rawle is in - so that is one tuner with his 'product' on display.
I am not sure if Craig is either interested or counts - sure it's his car but he is not the tuner - so will it be entered as a DRM car with Nam parts.
Anyway it would be in a different Stage (IV as opposed to III)
Andy,
sorry you didn't get the mail - I did send it to you!
Cheers,
Trout

Doh! I misread your last post Trout!
As I've been caught out with you editting your post ... I though Craig's car was tuned by DP Motorsport in Warrington! (And not DRM, the man with the spoilers, etc)
