I've decided I am getting a WRX and saw a really nice 5 dr last night. But given myself the weekend to make a final decision.
I have been offered an STI which has just come into the country and has to be SVA tested etc. Is there anything to be wary of such as HP still owing in Japan? The company is Marspeed near Winchester, anyone used them or heard of them?

I bought a 5dr STI3 - Love it ! from Lifestyle motors in Dorking. Most people seem to think that the STI is better than the WRX. Mine is a P reg and was £16,500.
You don't see as many 5dr as 4 so it's something a little different and they say that the chasis is a bit firmer so handling is better.

pre 96 wrx 5dr has 220bhp
post 96 wrx 5dr has 250bhp
not sure about sti1 & sti2 5dr but sti3 has 276bhp in 5dr.

If you come from winchester I will happly take you for a spin at the weekend in a stiv3 my freind also has 98 or 99?? wrx for sale,which you could test drive.

How things? - In the end I couldn't afford the brembo kit - bonus not there etc !! so I had the goodrich pipes added and pagid blue pads - squeeking a bit at the moment though.
Pete said there is nothing wrong with the car and I'm no starting to feel more relaxed and enjoying it again - he had the same conversation with me that you had!

Are you going to Santa Pod still, next weekend?
I'm seriously thinking of getting the downpipe and mid section fitted on the Saturday just to get that extra bit!.
Looks like the Cossies are going to be there as well - there seems to be some talk of a match up between the SIDC and RSOC.
