What are the risks in buying a non EU car?

either new or secondhand,be wary of visiting Subaru Dearlers, they wont take kindly to your visits either and wont be interested in any service work, so you will have to take it elswhere for non gen servicing/repair

Go new if you can as ther is no history to try and chase/understand.
There are lots of specialists servicing them and supplying parts out there, and I prefer to let a specialist like Scoobysport 'fettle' her! You get to talk to the chap working on the car (not some pretty receptionist) and they are better value than a dealer. [My previous MAIN dealer experiences have mostly been bad, but it's fair to say I'm also very fussy]
No contest!
