I'm in MK but still go to Fenny Compton near Banbury (M40 J11) because they are fair on prices, helpful and have 'been at it' for years with the same mechanics.

Contact Dave West of Risborough 4wd on 01844 274652. A lot of us on here use him and find him v reasonable and informative. He's based at Princess Risborough, Bucks. £30p/h if I remember correctly.

Not in your area, but I'd recommend AnG in Park Royal, W. London.
Scooby mechanic started there recently, having spent the past 30 years at Ace Kensington (Subaru dealer) after they closed. He know's his stuff, but at a fraction of the price of a main dealer.
