Had an emergency, used my last bottle of octane booster yesterday, and car is mapped to 99.

Rang Craig at Nam late (3pm) yesterday to order some NF, and it arrived today.

Excellent service, thanks.

Will my tyres arrive at the same speed?

Keep up the good work!

How much was the NF Octane booster ?

Is it Street Formula that you use or the Mental race stuff ??

I use the race formula at a concentration of 1 ml per litre.

Am thinking of trying two mls/litre but the car is mapped to 99 now so it isnt going to feel any different.

Surely this would only have been an issue for high revs and boost. If you drove sensibly, with low revs/boost - you'd probably be ok

Mines, possibly mapped to RON 99 - but I dont have the same concerns - if I know I'm gonna drive hard - on a full tank I would, need more than a bottle a fill up, as Millers gives a max of 2 points on 50 litres, is it?

Perhaps some of us are not as risk averse, but I guess better to be safe than sorry.

Have you noticed any difference at all between this stuff and the other stuff u used?

steve, you are right. It would only have been an issue if I booted it. But it hard to have the car running so well

(big thanks to bob rawle developments)

and not be able to use it.

If I am going to properly boot it, I wouldn't bother with more than 50mls per 50litre fill up. Craig has told me to try 100mls, but I dont see what diff it will make (performance wise) without remapping.

Since I don't do my own mapping I cant say if it is any noisier (on the knocklink) than before. Also the car has only ever been run on NF since it was mapped, so I dont have a comparison. I would have to start using millers again to note a difference.

On track, I would probably go for 100mls per tank. The car doesnt det now, no matter how much I boot it so there isn't much point on the road safetywise.

I dont know if Bob ever tested the NF against the millers to check the difference, I am sure there are plenty of us who would be more than interested.

I'd just like to second Adam - I have dealt with Craig @ NAM a few times recently and he has been helpful, friendly and above all, delivers things when he says he will!!!!!

Keep up the good work Craig!!!

Thanks for the comments

I wish I could say 100% of things turned up when they should, but a lot of things are out of my control. If only I could control suppliers....

Still, if I managed 100%, it would give me nothing to aim for.

Will have to work on that 0.01 percent
