This is a topic which has probably been done to death but .....
Does anyone have knowledge of decent VW dealers in Holland/Belgium? Colleage of mine is looking for a Golf, wants to know that someone has personally used this dealer.
Anyone able to vouch for a supplier?

I tried to buy a Golf in Holland 6 months ago. All the dealers I contacted refused to sell me one. They all said it would take 1-2 years for delivery !
If you manage to get a quote, be careful with the spec, it is completely different to UK spec, ie extremely basic, with everything extra.
The europe spec Golf GTI doesn't have alloys/stereo etc.
