phew! I'm doing a lot of posting today!
Anyway.
I'm seriously thinking about a scooby, and WRX's seem cheapish (not dissn' the brand!) and the performance is groovyer than standard turbos.
My only problem is that if I was to purchase a WRX where on earth would I get it serviced and maintained? I live in Tunbridge Wells, which is in Kent. I very much doubt that my local scooby dealer, Lancaster Subaru in Sevenoaks, would touch it, for obvious reasons.
So I call on the words of wisdom of the BBS crew to help me out and tell me where a friendly soul can be located who will take care of the mechanical side of my scooby.
Anyway.

Ha! Lancaster Sevenoaks? They wanted a chassis number from me to supply a headlight for my STi (obviously I just said it was for a 99 year car). "Still need it" they said even though it was in April 99 so the 99 year car hadn't been out that long. They reckoned there were 4 different types!!
Anyway, I'm not that far from you (near Hastings) and I used to use Lockyear in Horsham but have found their servicing guy to be a bit disinterested. I now go to ScoobySport in Basildon. Should take about 1 hour from Tun Wells and you know they'll do a good job.
Hope this helps

Ah, the hallowed scoobysport! definitley trust my scooby to them without a doubt.
Any idea if they'd do a courtesy car? My employer might take a somewhat dim view of me taking half/all day off to get car serviced!

Hi Markus
There is a place right on yopur doorstep.
I bought my 95 WRX in Crowbrough form GDA. Speak to Graham Daragh on 0385 110650, he does all my servicing for me and is very reasonably priced! £100 for my last service!
The premises are'nt too spectacular, but the service is good - and that's what counts!
James
Mail me on James.bushell@brewin.co.uk and i'll send you a pic!

Don't know if they have a website ?
When driving into Crowbrough from the Tunbr. Wells direction - turn right at the main crossroads! Follow this road for about 2 miles. when you start to climb a hill, slow down !! The entrance is on the right - just over the crest (It looks simillar to a farm entrance - well it is - but don't let that put ypu off!) !!
