And where's a good place to do it? Just wondering, and am referring to the 260-280bhp GTbs and B4s

Not easy, Tractor. I put my Legacy RS-B up on this BBS and had a couple of replies. One never got back to me, the other (who was very keen) couldn't get an acceptable insurance quote. IMHO, Legacies' capabilities are still relatively unknown - everyone wants an Impreza . But, as you'll well know, the Legacy is by far the better car. You could persevere more than I did - I got bored and traded mine in to a dealer against the Mitsubishi equivalent. He was kind enough to offer me two bags of crisps and a box of toffees for the Legacy but, by that time, I'd decided to change anyway. I did get a good deal on the VR4 though

You see them from time to time, & pretty cheap compared to imprezas

It's just a matter of getting lucky. If you can't find anyone who's looking, they aren't worth much & are pretty hard to sell - there was a 12K mile B4 on here a few months ago for £12K

It does make them a bit more of a risky buy - I reckon my 56K MY99 B4 is probably worth around £8-10K now

Naughty - a friend of mine has an immaculate GTB for sale - 57k, rare manual (so full 280bhp instead of 260bhp in the auto), also his has climate, ABS etc - he was asking 7300 now, just £6995

The answer is these are rare cars, but excellent, they don't come up for sale that often and manuals seem to sell much better in the UK compared Autos (though I think it is the other way round in Japan)...

Unhappy

I've got a new shape GTB 45k mls just had the belts service. Dealer says it's worth about £14k but they don't want it. I'm not ready to get rid of it just yet but I'm starting to get nervous about what will happen when I do try to sell it.
