Missing windscreen trim after repair ?
#1
Hi everyone,
I have had my scooby for nearly a month now and am enjoying it hugely. Unfortunately I needed to have the windscreen replaced after a stone hit it on the M25. The man from Autoglass came today and fitted the new one at work.
The only problem is that I now seem to have a 1cm gap between the plastic trim and the roof on both sides of the car. I'm sure this wasn't there before. Am I imagining things, or has a piece of trim been removed and not replaced ?
To clarify, the plastic trim runs from the front to the back of the car. It starts by the bonnet and runs up along the edge of the windscreen, along the roofline and then down the edge of the rear windscreen. The gap I'm talking about is where the strip runs along the roofline.
Can somebody check their car and tell me I'm not imagining things please ? I don't want to complain if that is the way the car has always been...
