Hi Guys
Can anyone out there help with this one? Booked my Terzo in for its 30000 mile service - running fine. Picked it up after the service to find that it doesn't hold its tick-over, loses power to the power steering when changing gear (ie the engine almost stalls), and stalls occasionally at junctions. The last 2 times this has happened the engine wouldn't start again. It's been back to the main dealer 3 times now, and, well, they're mucking me about.
Anyone got an idea what the problem might be, or how to put pressure on the dealer to fix what clearly they have broke?
Thanks!

Sounds like the MAF... but only from what people have said on here before..

try searching on "MAF problems" and "tickover" (note not just "MAF" as search doesn't work with 3 characters or less for some reason).

Surely the dealer should have put it on the select monitor and checked?

What a sickener. I think you should print the post off that JGM2 has given you above, and take that to the dealers - obviously a common problem

Sipie had this problem! He put the car in to get the gearbox fixed and they sent him back on the road with a fcuked MAF. The best bit is they knew about it but didn't mention it and a fcuked MAF can lead to a fcuked engine That's service for you :rolleys:
