The beast has just hit 100,000 miles! I've had it for nearly a year now and not had any squeaks, bangs, pinking, overboost, judder, piston melts, explosions or any other complaints.
Amazing really, I bought it at 86k but the full Subaru history gave me some confidence in buying it. Never looked back since!

125,000. FSSH. Only problems so far...

Cam sensor replaced.
Small oil leak (being fixed next service)
Possible heat shield vibration.

Not bad really. Like you I have every confidence it will continue to give good service for years to come (queue breakdown on the way home tonight ).

since being pulled into a tear in the space time continuum and placed somewhere in the delta quadrant, i've taken no chances and disconnected the speedo, so unfortunately, I can't give you any precise readings.

....marvellous...Subaru's and the joys of Voyager!! could my life be any sweeter?!?

Well, I actually had to brake from near a ton, so the needle wasn't in the way of the mileage. It was either that or boost up to 130!

I thought hard braking would be safer...

TC - Thanks mate,

The new downpipe is awesome, I will call it a day with the performance mods now though. Casually looking around at prices of newer scoobs...

Let me know about the phone. Hows yours running? Any more mods? Still f***ing quick?!

Just sold my trusty legacy turbo with 213K on the clock - beat that!.

Original engine without rebuild.

Considering it was chipped and running high boost etc. (est. 260 to 280BHP, went like a train!) for the last 4 years its not bad going.

Changed oil every 3K, used to stop the lash adjusters getting too noisy

My mates MY94uk has 195K on its original engine,FSH and put out 220bhp @ flywheel at our last RR day at Star Performance.

My MY99UK has covered 30K and is already on its 3rd engine, the last one lasted 4 days & 300 miles .All due to a faulty fuel injector causing piston failures.
Thank god for warranty
