I upgraded my 95WRX with 4 pots and discs from a P1, no problems at all. Are you getting the discs as well? Don't know what wheels you've got but you need to check the offset to make sure they'll clear the calipers. Standard rears are fine as they don't do much work anyway. Worth fitting braided hoses (about £60) all round while you're at it and also a brake support bracket (about £50). These will amke the brakes feel a lot more positive. My standard P1 discs didn't last long before they warped so I've now got EBC grooved and EBC green stuff pads all round. Still not sure about the green stuff pads (about £80 for front) but they seem to be getting better the longer they're on, they seem to take ages to bed in properly.

Hope this helps

Dave

Question

hi
my mates just uprated his 2door STI to 6 pots, so he's offered me his 4pots for £100
will they fit the WRX (93MY) and will the standard rears still be OK?
also, wheres the cheapest place to get pads from?

Just to confirm, yes they do fit a 93 WRX cos I've got them on but you will need later spec 16" wheels if you haven't already got some. The 15" ones wont fit over the calipers. Fitting is straight forward though
