Everyone seems to praise Tescos insurance arm but when I get an online quote they seem expensive. Can you call them? and would they give a lower quote over the phone?

On-line car ins. is a nightmare. Have tried is several times with all sorts of suppliers, but when you have a few things to explain; my points, wife's points, wifes no fault claim, mods, co.car no claims credit, you're better off phoning as the end result is much quicker and usually much better. I'm with Tesco's which was the cheapest for me by miles.
