Scrappy,
Scoobys seem much better at low speed acceleration than Cossys when both cars are standard, hence you pulling away off the roundabout. Once they Cossy get going they are better able to keep up. If youd have taking it to three figure speeds and beyond then I think youd have found the Cossy closing the gap as they do well at high speed.
Spend £100 and chip a Cossy, however, and things change

Hey, a Golf V6 4Motion almost kept up with me!! PPP is on order!!!
I think its relative tho - i was in 5th and i reckon he was probably a gear less!!! SHAME ON MY CAR!!! Lost him after i got to higher revs / turbo on boost

A moped could take my Cossy when its off boost!! Roll along at 10mph in second and floor it and you could read a paper before the turbo wakes up!
But when it wakes up its like warp factor nine! Just like a two stroke bike....mmmmm....turbo cars, dont ya love 'em

I was enjoying a nice pleasant drive in my MY01 today when i noticed a Sierra RS cosworth in the distance.As i approached i could see him observing me in his mirror, and i knew he would punch it.So as we came off the roundabout we both floored it. Now it was on a duel carridgeway and i know it was childish but i couldnt resist. I accelerated away from him quite quickly and put around 60 -70 yards on him, but then that was it.From then on it was equal. Does anyone know the performance stats for the cosworth? I cant wait to get a performance upgrade for my car when it comes out, it will make a hell of a difference.

Jza, i know, i had a few close shaves the other day with a renault 5 GT turbo, thats why i want the PPP, and dont get me started on BMWs. I hate them. They are almost as quick if not the same through the gears.I need more powerrr captain. When is the MY01 PPP actually coming out for the MY01 WRX?It cant be that long surely.
Bren simpson. I noticed that. He stayed with me the rest of the way until we had to slow down, but i thought that if i had a slight better acceleration and midrange he would have been gone,thats why the PPP is a must.
