Insurance and mods.
#1
Cant believe the rubbish I just got from privilege.
Decided to declare my AP 6 pots, as dont want it void.
Told them value was £1000.
They increased policy by £58 for remaining 3 months, due to increased vehicle vale, which means £240 per year for a £1000 increase.
car is already insured for £35k at £1200 so how does that work.
They said if car was stolen they would need to compensate me for this extra value.
But I was notifying them for performance reasons not value reasons. They said if BHP does go up, then it isnt a performance mod, so they dont care, only other type of mod is anything that increases value.
Since I would not expect them to pay for replacement aps, I wanted to tell them the brakes are merely non standard AP made items, whose value is the same as that of the standard brakes. That way they could not use it as an excuse to not pay out, ut wouldnt have to compensate me for their value.
Is there a problem in doing this?
Does this sound stupid to anyone else here?
