We think I my turbo, if fugded.
Is there anyone that can have a look it for me?????

I live in Kingston.

It some times blows white smoke out the back, when you start it.

and it is blowing smoke out the back.

I can not aford to take it to a dealer.

You can get a second hand turbo for as little as 150quid. I think black/grey smoke usually means the turbo is going though. A good comparison is to look at a RS cosworth when it tries to boot it. Most of the turbos are about to go on those. dirty little machine.

Another thing to think about is whether the head gasket has gone.

How much smoke is there when it is warm? Any change in colour?

It smokes like mad.
I am hoping I have not dammaged my piston rings.
I can do the work my self if need be I just need some help saying "that is the problem change that"

When my turbo was on it's way out, it smokes on start up and the first time you put your foot down, there was a time delay before it chucked out lots of grey/black smoke then was ok again, got it changed and it was the turbo oil seal that was shagged, you can change these if you know what your doing and the turbo is not too badly shagged, white smoke usually points to piston rings though ....
